The journey continues for Amy Herzog’s 4000 Miles as the acclaimed drama begins performances March 15 at Lincoln Center’s Mitzi E. Newhouse Theatre. Directed by Daniel Aukin, the production, starring Mary Louise Wilson, Gabriel Ebert, Greta Lee and Zoe Winters, officially opens April 2.
The play tells the story of 21 year-old Leo (Ebert) who loses his best friend during a cross-country bike trip. Leo then seeks solace from his feisty, Communist grandmother (Wilson) in her West Village apartment.
4000 Miles originally premiered as part of Lincoln Center’s LCT3 development program. The drama opened to critical praise at The Duke on 42nd Street on June 20, 2011.
